Funnel = a lab tool that separates liquid moxtures from the suspension sized particles. Buret = lab epuilment used to increase the accuraccy of measuring liquids. Like a graduated cylinder it is commonly measuring liquids, but the gradualted marks are written in reverse. 0 ml is located at the top of a buret, 0 ml is located at the bottom of a grad. cylinder. Crucible = s useful tool to heat a substance with a hot flame Pipet = a lab device allowing us to add small amount of a liquid by drop. These can also be graduated, and tend to be a very accurate piece of equipment evaporating dish = equipment that allows us to separate a mixture with evaporation (bunsen burners may be used to drive off the heat faster). Water is driven off in the gaseous form and a salt will be left in the dish. thermometer = device used to measure how hot or cold a substance is. We will use degrees Celcius.
