10/7/08 NOTEBOOK REQUIREMENTS

1. Vocab starting 8/26 thru 10/6 (excluding 9/1 labor day, 9/24 test day, and 10/3 no school) 2pts per 27 days = 54 total points

2.  Lab Equipment sheet.  Front and back pictures of equipment that you had to label = 1 pt for each that we labeled = 28 total points

3.  QOD's starting at 8/28  thru 10/6 (excluding the same dates as vocab). 2 pts per 25 days = 50 Total points

4.  Safety crossword 1 pt per answer = 29 Total points (skipped #13)

5.  Notes on matter = complete NOTES Starting with describing matter, classifying matter, classifying changes in matter, histroy of the atom (picture sheet), calc p, n, and e (1/2 sheet chart), Quantum mechanics. 50 Total points

6.  Chromotography minilab = 5 points for data table, 5 points per question = 30 total points

7.  Crossword Matter and Changes of Matter (green) = 1 point per question = 27 total points

8. Periodicity notes = Complete NOTES starting with Mendeleev and Mosley, Definitions, Properties, colored periodic table, and trends = 50 Total points

9.  Valence electrons and periodic table worksheet = 1 point each question = 45 Total points

10.  Crossword Periodicity = 1 point per question = 32 total points

Total for your 1st notebook check is 395.  Place all material in order, completely fill out the front grade sheet, give yourself total points, add up and divide your number by 354, multiply by 100 to get a %.

Deductions = No name = - 50 points, not in order -50 points, awarding yourself points not actually earned = 0 on notebook check.  DUE 1st thing Tuesday morning....
