Mrs. Michelle Plumb-Taylor is starting her fourth here with us at Austin Peace Academy.  She is a graduate of the University of Texas Dallas with a Bachelors of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-4^th grade.  She is a Texas certified teacher in the content areas of EC-4^th grade general and K-12 Special Education.  She has 2 years of experience teaching in special education classrooms, 2 years of experience teaching pre-k and 2 years of experience teaching 4^th grade.  This will be her 3^rd year teaching 4^th grade for Austin Peace Academy.  She has received training in 6+1 Writing Traits, Guided Reading Instruction, Linear Math (including area, volume and measurement), and the new Science TEKS.  She is also active in our PTA, planning our Spring Carnival fundraiser for the past 3 years.
