Character Education at Genet Elementary Welcome to Morning Program A very important part of our Character Education Program takes place each Monday morning. We gather as a school , students and staff to reflect and learn, sing and laugh as we work together as a community to develop strong, positive character traits. In this safe environment students become risk takers - sharing skits and poems they have written, or songs they have learned. Students are acknowledged for outstanding performance - representing the character trait for the month. Students are also recognized as a class by the special area teachers for terrific character performance in his or her class that month. The hope is that our kids will take these lessons to heart and spread the positiveness that comes out of each and every Morning Program ! Please join us some morning - we'd love to see you there!
