I can't believe it is July already! I hope you have been enjoying your summer so far! My family and I have been very busy reading, swimming, going to the beach, seeing movies, and relaxing in between. I have provided the second grade supply list below for your convenience. See you next month!

SECOND GRADE REQUESTS FOR 2009-2010

*Please do not label supplies. Some supplies will be used for the classroom community. Classroom teachers will provide name/number labels for items such as binders and folders. Thank you in advance for your support!

1” white 3-ring binder with clear plastic slip-in front
2 double-sided, plastic 3-ring binder pockets (no paper please)
1 zippered pencil pouch (clear front only)

10 small gluesticks
 4 packs of sharpened, #2 pencils
2 (24 count) Crayola crayons
 2 (10 count) boxes of Crayola colored pencils

1 pair of children’s scissors

1 small pencil sharpener with a lid 
 2 4-packs of Expo markers-black please
 2 pkgs. wide ruled notebook paper
 1 box gallon Ziploc bags (girls)
1 box sandwich-size Ziploc bags (boys)
 2 large boxes of facial tissue
 1 bottle of hand soap

2 large containers of Clorox wipes
2 boxes of Band-aids

**Please note that this is a general list for all second grade teachers. Individual teachers may request additional supplies specific for their classrooms.
