Happy Fall Y'all

Welcome to the

2008/2009 school year!

I believe that what happens in this class will affect your child’s future. Your child’s time here in room 144 will be well spent. He or she may even come home exhausted from all the thinking during the day, but I will make every minute count. I know I have been gifted with a wonderful class and I am looking forward to the terrific and exciting year that lies ahead of us. With your help and cooperation and your child’s enthusiasm and effort, we can make it happen!

While in my class, I believe that every child can learn and will achieve to his or her fullest potential. My expectations for our class, throughout the year, will be very high and demanding. Each student’s first   priority is to put forth nothing less than one hundred percent effort at all times. During the course of the year we will be setting many goals together as a class and individually as a student. The students should work to the best of their ability to achieve each and every goal that has been set. With a positive attitude, cooperation, top effort, respect and responsibility, I believe any student in our class can achieve any goals that have been set. With mutual understanding between teacher, parents and students as to what is   expected of them throughout the year, we should have a   wonderful year filled with multitudes of educational as well as personal growth.

I always encourage a strong parent and school partnership. If you ever have any questions, comments or concerns, please feel free to contact me immediately. The best way to reach me is through e-mail. Since I check my e-mail frequently during the day, I can assure that your message will be received quickly and a response will be sent promptly. It you would like to leave me a message, please do so through my personal voice mail on my cell phone before leaving a message on the school voice mail.

It’s truly going to be a great year!
