This will be the second year for our Green Program, and we are happy to report, Alhamdolelah, that our community has made definite progress over the course of the past year. We have EXPANDED OUR RECYCLING, learned to pack a 'NO-WASTE LUNCH', served an ORGANIC & HALAL BUFFET (a No-Waste event!), participated in the GLOBAL 350 MOVEMENT, and held our 1st ANNUAL ENERGY FAIR. We set out last year to raise the overall environmental awareness in our community, and have definitely achieved that goal.
But of course, there is still so much work to be done! Please stay tuned for upcoming events and projects!
