* I will be supplying each of the children with a pack of 8 crayons, a pencil, eraser, glue stick and scissors. Although you may be inclined to send in additional crayons for your little one, I would strongly suggest holding off doing so until the end of September. I find that, initially, 8 crayons are manageable but too many more tend to be overwhelming.
* I also do not recommend sending in pencil or crayon sharpeners. I have found in the past they've proven to be a distraction to, not only the child who brings them, but the children who then ask to borrow them. I will gladly sharpen the pencils when necessary.
* Please make it a point to tell your child in the morning whether they will be "buying" or "packing". Even though you may have placed their lunch boxes in their packs they may not always be aware.
* If you are planning on picking up your child on any given day, rather than them taking their normal bus home, please send a note with them in the morning (preferably) or ring the office during the course of the school day.
