The following is a list of really important tidbits my Kindergarteners have taught me over the years. These little philosophers see the world in it's truest form without a lot complications and with much innocence. The first thing they taught me....share.
Tell me slowly so I can understand quickly.
Take it apart to see how it works even if the adults don't agree.
Dream.
Always ask if you can play too. If you don't the answer will always be no.
A hug can make a difference in someone's day.
If your drawing doesn't look like everyone else's, that's a good thing.
If you want children to listen to what you have to say, whisper it.
Believe in yourself. Without it you won't reach your goals...no matter how big or small.
Create a reason to come together and celebrate.
We all need the most love when we deserve it the least.
Laugh at yourself.
Wonder.
