Je n'enseigne pas ce semestre. Cette classe a un site-web @ vhlcentral.com avec des leçons pour practiquer. The preliminary unit covers the first six weeks and includes: Greetings, Commands and Classroom objects, Numbers and Time, and the Calendar questions. There are three tests (greetings, numbers and time, and calendar) and two quizzes (commands and objects.) There are two projects: the locker and the calendar. There are numerous worksheets. Chapter 1/chapitre 1: Essential question: Who are we? Comment décrire les personnes? We learn words for people and to describe them, how to say where you are from and what you like. Grammar is the verb ETRE, definite articles, indefinite articles, adjective agreement in gender and number. There is a chapter test, a project about yourself, and a packet of worksheets. Chapter2/chapitre 2: Essential question: What is school like? Comment décrire l'école? We learn words for school subjects and places. Grammar is ER verbs,how to make negative sentences and questions. There is a chapter test, a project about the school, and a packet of worksheets.
