Meet the Teacher

Greetings! My name is Miss DeFrain and I teach Kindergarten at Peter's Elementary since 2007. I am a 2002 graduate of Northern Lehigh High School and a 2006 graduate of Muhlenberg College with a Bachelor of Arts degree. I am certified to teach Elementary Education K-6. I also have a degree in Sociology from Muhlenberg College. Most recently, I earned my Masters in Education: The Art of Teaching from Cedar Crest College in May of 2011.   I love to play with my Beagle puppy Barney. Also in my free time I have been helping to coach the Varsity Softball Team at Northern Lehigh High School since 2011. Additionally,I have coached the Northern Lehigh JV Softball Team since 2007. Another hobby of mine is golf. I love to play on the weekends and enjoy practicing.
