“For the things of this world cannot be made known without a knowledge of mathematics” - Roger Bacon

A little bit about me...

I am Michele Culley and this is my 23rd year teaching in the Cecil County Public School system. After graduating from EHS (Yes, Elkton High!) and earning my Bachelor's degree in Secondary Mathematics Education at the University of Delaware, I returned to EHS to begin my teaching career. After one year at EHS, I transferred to Cherry Hill Middle School where I taught for nine years.  I left Cherry Hill to become the Mathematics Resource Teacher for grades K-12 in the Mathematics Office at the Board of Education Offices. Soon after joining the Math Office, I earned a Master of Education Degree from Loyola College.  After four years in the math office, I decided I needed to return to the classroom - I MISSED TEACHING!  I am beginning my ninth year back at Elkton High School and I am very happy to be teaching here.
On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Gene, and my two daughters Jennifer, who graduated in June, 2009 from Elkton High and is currently a student at Cecil College and Jordan, freshman at Elkton High.  I enjoy bowling, playing tennis, and going to plays (especially musicals).
I am looking forward to getting to know my students this year and having another wonderful year at EHS.

Please feel free to email anytime or call me at school
