About Mr. Browning

Michael Browning is the Director of Band and Orchestra at John Paul II High School.  He attended the University of Southern Mississippi and the University of Illinois.  Prior to becoming a professional educator, Mr. Browning was a professional trombonist with the United States Air Force Band stationed at Travis Air Force Base in San Francisco, California.  He has performed with Manhattan Transfer, The Dallas Wind Symphony, Metallica, A Chorus Line, Santa Rosa Symphony, Mississippi Symphony, Ft. Worth Symphony, and the American Institute for Musical Studies Orchestra in Graz, Austria. 

When not working, Mr. Browning enjoys spending time with his family, riding motorcycles, and skiing.
