Pre-K 4A & 4B

Dear Parents,

We hope your child enjoyed our Halloween celebration in school.  Thank you to everyone who helped with our classroom parties!

JACKETS…

Please make sure your child brings a jacket to school.  You may also want to begin sending in hats and mittens for outdoor play.  We love to get as much fresh air as possible. 

SICKNESS…

Please make sure you do not send your child in to school with a fever or other cold or flu symptoms.  We are using extra precautions with antibacterial wipes and hand washing as much as possible.  However, the best way to not spread sickness is to keep your child home when they are feeling poorly. 

OUR THEME …

Next week we will begin our new theme of “My Five Senses.”  We will provide many opportunities for the children to become aware of their senses and to observe the world around them.  We hope to take outdoor walks and use our senses to observe changes in nature.  We will also examine many different textured materials in our classroom and use descriptive words, such as bumpy, smooth, rough, hard, soft, etc. 

Next week we also learn the letter Tt.  We will be using “Tt” in some fun turkey projects!

REMINDER…There is no school on Tuesday (Faculty Workshop).
