Parents,

This week we have Computer Monday, Music and our classroom Valentine's Day party Tuesday, P.E. and an assembly Wednesday, Library and Art Thursday, and roller skating Friday.   

This week:

Religion: - Chapter 7 - Jesus Teaches Us How to Love - Students will complete an open book test on Tuesday.

Spelling/Reading: - Spelling Challenge Words are Valentine, Lincoln, and Washington. The Reading story is, "One Grain of Rice" and the skill lesson is Compare and Contrast. Look for the Family Times handout in the homework folder Monday. This will have the Spelling words and the story vocabulary on the back. The quiz on the Reading story and vocabulary is Thursday and the Spelling test Friday.

Language Arts: - Unit 7 - More Verbs - BE verbs in the past, contractions, and using contractions correctly.

Math: - Unit 6 - Geometry - Look for the review packet Monday in the homework folder. The unit Written Assessment is Tuesday.  Unit 7 - Multiplication and Division - Patterns in Products, Multiplication Facts Survey, and Fact Power. 

As for Social Studies: - Unit 3 - Communities Grow and Change - The unit test is Wednesday. Students need to study their notes. The Invention Project is also due on or before Wednesday. Information on the project came home Wednesday, February 8th. Unit notes and project information can be found under the Homework web page.  

Science: with Miss Kiseleski - Review for Water Cycle , pp. D6-D11, Test on Tuesday, February 14. Start Weather - How it changes each day and clouds.
