Plum Creek PE Ms. Smith

I would like to welcome you and your child to Plum Creek.  I am excited about being able to work with your child in the areas of Fitness and Health. 

During the 2008 – 2009 school year your child will be introduced to many fun activities and learning experiences in the area of physical and health education.   My objective is to teach your child how to be healthy for life.

This year grades 3rd, 4th and 5th will be taking the Fitness Gram test at three different times.  The test is made up of five componants...cardiovascular fitness,muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and body composition.  Towards the end of the school year your child will be sent home with a fitness report card that will show you your childs level of fitness whether it be healthy or unhealthy

Help your child become more physically fit; walk with them, play outside with them, ride bikes with them...  What better way for you and your child to spend time together.
