I couldn't be more excited about teaching at St. Francis! As a St. Francis alum I truly believe that my teachers and experience at St. Francis growing up influenced me to become a teacher myself. Three years ago, after graduating from college, I returned to St. Francis to offer myself up as a sub. I wanted to be involved with the school, and knew that I would enjoy subbing. From there I was hired to teach kindergarten two days a week and assist in first grade the rest of the week, as our first grade class that year was very large. I have coached field hockey and track. This year I am continuing as a part time kindergarten teacher, and spending the remainder of the week assisting in the office at St. Francis Preschool, which I am enjoying very much. I feel very lucky to be a part of both of our fabulous campuses. I have a BA in psychology from the University of Kentucky, and am working towards my masters in school counseling at the University of Louisville. I spend the summers at Camp Hi Ho where I am the assistant director. If I am not surrounded by kids you can find me either running or playing field hockey.
