January News

Happy New Year!!

School has resumed and we are happily settling in after our vacation. Everyone is eager to continue learning. January topics include, night, the moon, family, animals in winter and Martin Luther King Jr. Every child will be taking a turn as an official moon watcher, so please be on the look out for your moon ticket.

The class family book will begin to circulate this month, so please help your child create a family page to share when it makes its way to your house. All students should know their addresses and phone numbers. Please send in a picture of your child in front of your house and a picture of your child on a family vacation. The vacation picture can be at any time or age. These pictures will be used for two special class books.

We are all looking forward to Children's Stage Adventures. Kindergarten children are invited to try out and are encouraged to do so if they are interested.

The children have outside recess unless it is below 20 degrees. Appropriate clothing for outdoor play is a must. Boots are lined up in the hall and should not be worn in the classroom, so please send an extra of sneakers to keep in school, if possible. Thank you!
