Dear Parents,
We are wrapping up our school year this coming week! It is hard to believe summer is right around the corner!! We will have Awards on Wednesday, May 23rd. We will follow 4th grade. Check back for approximate time of awards. Thursday is a 1/2 day. They will be dismissed by 11:30. We will begin to clean out lockers and return text books to teachers. If your child has lost a text book, they will need to pay a fee for the book. We will also begin to collect locks as well.
We are planning a kick ball tournament on Tuesday. Your child will need to wear a YELLOW shirt, just like they did on Field Day. This will be competition between all 5th grade classes. Please make sure your child brings water, sunblock, etc.
I enjoyed having your child in my class this year. I saw improvement in responsibility and effort in your child. Please make sure your child works on their multiplication facts this summer. Knowing their facts through twelve will be necessary for next year.
