4th Grade Math: REVIEW 5th Grade Math: REVIEW A big focus for every math lesson is problem-solving. The children should be using flash cards to drill the multiplication and division facts at home every day. It is important for the children to continue to drill the addition and subtraction facts. Are you ready to practice your math skills? Scroll down and click on one of the links. Have fun! The ultimate goal is to memorize the math facts. The key to success in all areas of math is quick and accurate recall of the basic facts without using fingers. Whether we are working on graphs, word problems, or fractions, your child will have a greater chance of success if he/she has memorized the facts. Please spend 10-15 minutes daily helping your child memorize the facts. You can do this by using flash cards, giving timed tests, or oral practice whenever you have the chance. Thanks!
