Cross Country

St. LUke School provides all 5th through 8th graders the opportunity to run cross country. There is no limit to team size. Runners of all abilities are encouraged to participate. Cross country is a sport geared toward personal improvement. Each athlete is encouraged to set goals for improvement.

St. Luke generally participates in a minimum of seven meets, sponsoring one of those meets. Participating schools include St. Anne, Faith, Brookstone, Smith Station HS, Schley County HS, and The Heritage School. Races are either 2K or 2 miles in length, depending on the hosting school.

Practices start in August and the season generally runs from mid-September through the end of October. Practices are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday immediately after school.
