Softball

St. Luke Middle School offers participation in girls' fastpitch softball on a tryout basis for 5th through 8th grade students. Tryouts are generally in May for the coming fall season. Some knowledge and experience of the game is helpful, but not always a prerequisite.

Practices begin in the summer and a 10-12 game schedule usually starts in late August and continues to the first week of October. Schools we compete against include Calvary Christian, Brookstone, LaGrange Academy, Flint River Academy, Schley County Middle School, and Arlington Christian.

The St. Luke softball team plays by Georgia High School association rules and occasionally Amateur Softball Association of America (ASA) rules.
