Help Wanted!

There are always things going on in kindergarten that we need a little bit of help with.  Sometimes you may have something kicking around at home or would like to purchase it so that we can use for fun activities in the classroom! I will update this list as we do special projects throughout the school year.  Please email me if you are able to send something into school for us to use!

PAINTER'S TAPE

If you have any leftover painters tape from a home DYI project we could use it in the classroom!  Any amount will help out for a fun Christmas themed project we will be doing! 

PEPPERMINT EXTRACT

Check your pantry, maybe you have some of this leftover from a Christmas recipe you made last year!  Do not worry about the expiration date, we won't be eating it!

CINNAMON

Again check your pantry!  Maybe you've got some expired spices you could send in to us.    We won't be cooking with them and will use from for a fun art project in the room!

PEPPERMINT PLAYDOUGH

We need a volunteers(s) to make peppermint playdough to send to school to enahnce our study of the The Five Senses of Christmas.  You will have to add peppermint extract to the mix....don't be shy add lots!  You my also want to add food coloring for a fun twist.  If you do not have access to a playdough recipe, let me know and I would be happy to share one with you!

WALKMAN WITH A TAPE PLAYER

Remember way back when..we used to listen to tapes!  I have recieved a generous donation of books on tape and I would love to use them in the classroom during literacy stations.  Check and see if you have any of these old items around the house and if you do (and are not using them) we would love to put them to use in the classroom!

CD PLAYER

We also have books on cd. If you have any disc players you don't want or use anymore, we would gladly take them off your hands!

BATTERIES

The use of the tape and cd players bring with it alot of battery use!  If you would like to donate AA batteries for the classroom, it would be greatly appreciated!
