Hello Everyone-

My name is Laura Skolny and I am an Instructional Technology Specialist here at Monroe2 Orleans BOCES.  I have been with the Department of Exceptional Children for 15 years providing professional development and classroom support to special needs children.

There are many wide and varied definitions of "what is" instructional technology.  Instructional Technology in it's simpliest form is the use of a variety of teaching tools to improve and enhance student learning.  To me using technology in the classroom is like making your classroom come alive. 

My goal is very simple.... for teachers to learn and use the appropriate technology tool to make learning in their classroom fun!
