If you should have any questions during the year I can be contacted by calling the school at 562-2121 or by sending a note. I will respond as quickly as possible.

Please check and sign or initial your child’s agenda each night. I will check the agendas daily. Students will have detention for three consecutive unsigned days.

Your child’s agenda will contain important notes as well as homework assignments for the day. Please make sure your child brings it to school daily.

Homework  is assigned to reinforce the lessons we learn in school. Your child should be able to complete the homework  independently and/or with minimal help.   All homework is to be completed in pencil and returned the next day. Homework that has not been completed will be finished during recess. Your child will be allowed recess when the work is completed.

Tests will be sent home frequently to be viewed and signed by the parent/guardian. Please return the papers and folder the following day.

School policy requires a written and dated excuse explaining why your child was absent. Please send excuses to me on the day your child returns to school.

Personal items such as book bags, lunch boxes, jackets, etc. should have your child’s name printed on each.

Each child was given a folder labeled with a “keep home” and “bring back” side. This folder will contain any important notices and work that was completed in school and can be kept home. Please check your child’s folder each evening.

Please do not allow your child to bring toys to school.
