Thank you to all parents who sent in checks, paper towels, wipes, hand sanitizer, tissues, Sharpies and electric pencil sharpener. It is all greatly appreciated- you are terrific!! Grade 6 Service Project Our service project for Grade 6 this year will be collecting dog and cat food for the SPCA . Our project will be during the month of October this year in honor of St. Francis. We also will be collecting toys, treats, old towels and clean blankets for the animals. This is a great cause and we appreciate the help you give or any items that will be donated. Service Hours A total of 4 hours is required for each term and will be counted as a test grade. A completed and signed service sheet will be 100%-25% for each hour of service. Remember these hours are community service not hours helping your family. An example of community service would be altar serving, choir, hand bells, soup kitchen, etc. Each service must be signed by the sponsor or adult in charge of the service. Sixth Grade Mission Statement The Mission of our sixth grade class is to foster the light of faith and knowledge in our developing students. We will provide a Christ-centered environment in helping to build character, show compassion and respect for all.
