Video Technology I Syllabus

Video Technology

Students will learn how to use technology to create film projects by working in small groups to write, direct, act in, and edit projects. They will practice filmmaking, story telling, acting, writing, editing, leadership, group cooperation, and responsibility using and caring for equipment. They will explore possible career opportunities.

Video Technology I

Recommended Grades 9-12                                         Credit: 1

Recommended Prerequisite: None

Through the study of video technology-related terms, concepts, and video strategies, students will select the video technology appropriate for the task, synthesize knowledge, create a solution, evaluate the results and produce a video presentation project. This course satisfies the Technology Applications graduation requirement.
