We have been working through CareerZone (and occasionally glancing at Occupational Outlook Handbook) to complete the sections in our spiral-bound notebook. so far we should have completed:

• The full title of our career
• The career cluster which the career is in
• Job Description
• Interests
• Tasks
• Skills
• Knowledge
• Education Needed (high school classes needed for graduation)
  
• School Programs (a look at colleges)

This week we will be looking at wages. We will begin to work out a livable budget based on the career we have chosen and the entry level wages for NYS jobs. This is a very enlightening chapter for our students and they come away from this unit more aware of their living expenses vs. their wages.
