You and a partner will be researching information about each state of the Union and recording information found on the Internet site, Factmonster.com

On a separate sheet of paper, kept in your folder, you will play Hangman, under “geography” and click on “State names. Once you have successfully won, you will record the name of the state. You will then click on “See our Profile of ……”

You will record the following information:

For the latter half of this project, we will be designing tourism pamphlets on one of the states you and your partner will choose. We will be using a program for this latter half, Microsoft Publisher. You will also be returning to Hangman to explore the tourism link found under state profile in order to find out more information, of your choosing, that you think would attract the public to your chosen state.
