Classromm Rules Classromm Rules

Our classroom rules and school wide rules are as follows:

 1. Be straight, still, and silent in line.

2. Treat others with respect.

3. Follow adult directions the first time they are given.

4. Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

Cookie Bite Behavior Plan:

Each student has a cookie at the front of the classroom to monitor their behavior. If a student chooses to repeatedly break a classroom rule the student will be asked to "take a cookie bite."

0 bites for 1 week = cookies will be distributed to students on Friday for good behavior

1st bite = lose 5 minutes of recess time

2nd bite  = lose 10 minutes of recess time

3rd bite = lose 15 minutes of recess time and send a note home to parents/guardians to be signed and returned

4th bite =  lose all recess time, teacher makes a call home to notify parents of inappropriate behavior

BINGO - Whole Class Behavior Plan:

The day is broken down into 6 sections. During each section of the day students have an opportunity to earn a BINGO chip for good behavior. The class is working on a few key skills including no calling out and controlling excess talking during teaching times. The class will receive one warning about inappropriate talking.

o       Next the class will receive a v on the board if talking continues.

o       The class is allowed 2 vvs during a learning section of our day.

o       At the end of a particular learning session, I will check the board. If the class has 2 vvs or less the class has earned a BINGO chip. If the class has 3 vvvs or more the class will not earn a BINGO chip.

o       A student is selected at random to pull a BINGO chip from a container. This chip is then added to the class BINGO board.

When 5 chips are lined up across, up and down, or diagonally, the class has earned BINGO.

Next I will add a letter to the “Mystery Motivator” envelope. When the students have spelled the word BINGO of the envelope we will open the envelope to see what reward the whole class has earned.
