Homework: Your homework is always the same.

1.      Keep a personal writer’s journal. The entry must be multiparagraphed and at least three hundred words in length. JOURNALS ARE DUE EVERY FRIDAY. Topics will either be given or students will write about literary elements that are found in their reading.

2.      Study for weekly vocabulary tests. Words are given on Mondays, and tests are taken on Fridays.

3.  Read outside of class--both whole class novels and independent novels.
