3rd Grade Homework Week of September 7, 2009 Week 5
Monday   9/07/09	No School
Tuesday  9/08/09	·        Write 2 – 3 sentences about the book you’re reading at home each evening (see Reading Log) ·        Review the fast fact sheets for a fast fact quiz on Thursday, 9-10-09. *Try to time yourself for less than 3 minutes each.
Wednesday    9/09/09	·       Review the Science worksheet on the ‘Solar System’. Be prepared to answer short questions on Friday.
Thursday  9/10/09	·       Write your own ending to the story by Ray Bradbury called, ‘All Summer in a Day’.
Friday 9/11/09	·        ** This week’s spelling and vocabulary lists will be passed out; Tests on each will be given upon our return from the Eid break, 9-23-09.
COMMENTS -  Read each evening for at least 20 minutes, document your reading log, and get a parent’s initials. (25 points)   *Sentences about reading should be written in a spiral notebook every day.
