Classroom rules and expectations

Expectations: - Students should be prepared to learn (be in their seats with proper materials at the beginning of each period).
- Students should complete all assignments and turn them in on time.
- Students should pay attention and show respect for others by not talking out of turn. Hands should be raised and permission granted prior to asking questions or making comments.
- No student should interfere with another student's right to learn or the teacher's right to teach.
- Each student should take responsibility for his/her own learning by adhering to all rules.
- Students are expected to abide by the rules posted in each classroom.
Rules:
Keep your hands, feet, and other objects to yourself. Raise you hand and wait for permission to speak. Follow directions the first time they are given. Work and play in a safe manner. Listen when others are speaking. **Treat others the way you want to be treated.** No hurtful words. No food, drinks, candy, gum, or electronic devices in the classroom; water bottles are allowed.
