1^st Six Weeks- Unit 1 – Coming of Age

2^nd Six Weeks- Unit 2 – Exploring Poetic Voices and Research

3^rd Six Weeks- Unit 3 – Defining Style & Mystery Unit (NOVEL – we will provide the novel)

4^th Six Weeks- Unit 4 – Interpreting Drama Through Performance/ Young Love: Romeo and Juliet

5^th Six Weeks- Unit 5 – Coming of Age amidst Controversy

6^th Six Weeks- Unit 6 – Greek Mythology and the Hero:  The Odyssey

Most of the literature is in your textbook and you will not have to purchase a novel the first semester.
