 Aloha! Welcome to Room 3's Webpage! We're so happy you stopped by!  Community Heroes
On Wednesday, October 28th, the students at Hearst will get the opportunity to meet the various heroes (police officers and firefighters) in our community.This event will begin at 8AM and will start off with a helicopter landing from the San Diego Police Department. The students will then get to rotate in groups and learn about the important role these heroes play in our community.
 Halloween Parade Hearst Elementary School is having their Second Annual Halloween Parade!! Come to school on Friday, October 30th dressed in your Halloween Costume! At 8:00, we will parade around the blacktop strutting our stuff in our costumes! Please wear your costume over your regular school clothes or bring a change of clothes/shoes so that you can change at recess time. We do ask that if your costume has a weapon, that you keep it safely at home.
 Author Visit-Johnathan Rand
Johnathan Rand is the author of over 60 books with over 4 million copies in print, including the American Chillers, Michigan Chillers and Freddie Fernorter, Fearless First Grader series! He will be visiting Hearst on Wednesday, November 4th.  If you would like an autographed copy of one or more of his books, please fill out the form that was sent home and send in payment. Orders are due on the day of Mr. Rand's visit.
