All About Me! Mrs. Dierdorff ASD Resource Teacher

Hello!  I am a graduate of the University of Central Florida.  My degree is in Special Education because that is where my heart is!  From a young age, I knew I wanted to work with students with special needs.  During Middle School, I was a peer tutor for students with Mental Handicaps.  In high school, I was a volunteer with students who have Emotional Handicaps.  This is where I found my passion!  My college degree is specialized for me to teach students with Emotional Handicaps. 

After graduation, I taught in Orlando, Florida.  My husband and I had our first son followed by a second!  I took time off to be a mommy to two boys!  WOW!!!

Being home for seven years raising my own children really made me miss the classroom!  My boys were now old enough to be in school so I thought it was my turn, too!

Camp Creek has been the most amazing experience.  We have such a supportive administration and friendly working environment!  The Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) unit was a perfect fit for me!
