                                     Sight Word Games

1) Race the t.v. commercial- try to get through your entire list of sight words before 1 t.v. commercial is over. Extra challenge- try to get through both this week and last week's lists.

2) Quiz yourself in the car or ask a brother or sister to help you.

3) Scavenger hunt- have someone hide cards and you try to find them. Read each card you find before moving on

4) Play Memory with 2 sets of flash cards.

5) Play Go Fish with 4 sets of flash cards.

6) Have someone quiz you during bath time.

7) Have someone quiz you before dinner, play time or during snack.

8) See how many words you can rhyme with each sight word.

Most of these activities take only 5 minutes.
