Thespian Troupe # 875

Benton Community Theatre Department is a member of the International Thespian Society,Troupe 875.  We have been a member school since 1975.

Our activities include a musical and a play each year.  We attend the State Thespian Festival in November, and attend various shows in the area.  We also enjoy traveling around the state to see our alumni who are involved in theatre in their colleges.

Each May, we hold our annual banquet where we induct new members, award Best Thespians and Honor Thespians.  We also recognize adults who have significantly contributed to our program, and induct them as Honorary Thespians.

Lois Deerberg is our director. She directs the fall musical and teaches English, speech and theatre classes at the high school.
