Future Educators

Future Educators Conference & Congratulations to Three McIntosh Teacher Interns

 

The students pictured attended Clayton State University’s “Aspire to Teach” conference on March 13.  The Keynote speaker was Georgia’s 2009 teacher of the year.  Students attended sessions focusing on ethics in education, listening and communication, and rigor, relevance, and relationships in education. 

 

Visual Arts and Essay Contest Winners...

 

McIntosh’s Contemporary Issues in Education students earned three of the six awards given out.  CONGRATULATIONS to Junior Allyson Fitzwater, who won 1st place for her visual arts entry; Senior Sarah Trapaga, who won 2nd place for her visual arts entry; and Junior Kyle Collins who won 1st place for his entry in the Essay contest.
