My existence as an educator is embedded in the message of William Arthur Ward – “If you can imagine it, you can achieve it; if you can dream it, you can become it.”

In my home, I proudly display the roll-top desk I taught from as a child; the desk serves as a symbol of what I longed to be and how my dream became reality.

As educators, I believe, we must inspire and guide the young people we work with to realize their talents and gifts, to set goals, and to help them achieve their dreams. 

In this course, you will learn first hand about the exciting field of education through educational readings, class discussions, guest speakers, hands-on projects, classroom observations, and an amazing participatory experience at Peachtree City Elementary.
