Today's Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) are in high demand.  They are valued professionals with positions like Chief Financial Officer, Managing Partner, and President.

CPAs run the show from Wall Street to Main Street - from international accounting firms to rock bands, from FBI to professional sports teams, from multinational corporations to dot-com start ups.

In this course you will learn how to speak the language of business and about the exciting field of accounting through hands-on excercises, exploration of cool websites, guest speakers, and student-centered projects such as the You're Hired "Apprentice" style challenge.

Additionally, students will have the opportunity to participate in an honors luncheon at the 755 club in Atlanta and to attend a 3-day High School Residency program over the summer at UGA and GA Southern.  For specifics on this program click on the Summer Residency Program link found on the left side of this page.
