Reading Counts Quizzes

Reading Counts is a program at Saville where students read a book and take a 10 question quiz on that book.   Students can earn prizes through the library based on the number of points they earn.  Many of the books in our school library have a quiz, but not all.  Students can determine this by logging on to the Reading Counts program and entering the  book title, as if s/he is taking the quiz. 

Reading Counts quizzes are required and a part of the overall Reading grade.   The quiz scores within the three week grading period are averaged together to determine the Reading Counts Quiz grade.  The requirements for Reading Counts increases throughout the year, such as the number of tests required during the grading period and an increase in the difficulty of the book. Students will be notified of the increased requirements as they occur.

For the Reading Counts Quiz deadlines, please click on the file located at the bottom of this page.  If a student does not take the required quiz (or quizzes) by the deadline, she or he will not be able to make it up.
