2012 LCS TV Turn Off Week Events!
March 30-April, 2012
TV Turn Off Week is about taking a healthy break from TV and other media to focus on activities that are more academically, socially and physically rewarding. It is about having fun and thinking differently about how we spend our time. Research shows that upon High School graduation, the average student has spent more time watching television than in the classroom. Children who watch little or no TV tend to have higher grades, read more books, and exercise regularly.
Please join us for a week of activities and events for the whole family. Participating at any level will help classes as they compete for the most participation in each grade.

Come see a wildlife presentation & Encounter featuring 6 species of animals!
