TIPS: Some resources divide the regions within Asia into 6 groups using geographical landforms and cultural similarities as criteria.  You might try: 

SOUTH ASIA to include India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka .
SOUTHEAST ASIA (sometimes called Indochina)  to include Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia  and the Philippines.
EAST ASIA to include China, Japan, Taiwan, North Korea and South Korea.
CENTRAL ASIA to include Mongolia.
