 Upcoming Events at a Glance:
Parent Teacher conferences are the 24th, 25th,26th of March. If you want to have a conference please send a note in with your student. Half days/ Early Dismissal 12:30 March 24, 25, and 26. Spring break March 29 to April 2.
BY K-2 Three yellow daffodils bloomed in our garden today. Could Spring be that far away? 29 caterpillars munched all the leaves! 4 chrysalises is what we see. Where could the other 25 be? Puffy Cumulus cloud fill the sky. Doggie heads, cotton candy, cats, turtles, ice cream comes, and ships fly by.
 What We're Studying
We are putting on the final push to refine our skills so that we are ready for first grade. Your student might be bringing home individual homework. Please check their folders nightly.
Reading: What is the Author message to us? What is the lesson for us in this book?
We are pretty good at reading the words in a book (that's called decoding) . We are now working on comprehension. As you read with your student please be sure to discuss the book. Writing: our personal story have a detail that tells when it happened. Spelling:

Parent/Teacher Conferences Notices of Parent/Teacher conferences have been sent home. If you did not recieve a notice that means that it is not a necessary. However, if you wish to meet to dicuss your student send a note with your student or see me before or after school.
