WELCOME TO 3RD GRADE MS. LORI'S CLASS

   Welcome to 3rd grade at Yorkville School.  My name is Ms. Lori Allen. My classroom is a fun place to learn.  My students are involved in classroom activities such as games, reading centers, and using computers.  We like to use the internet to learn and explore ideas involving our TN standards.

   Please use our web page to find out classroom news and homework for the week.  I will also post important dates on the calendar.  There are also some good websites for your child to practice learning.  I have  listed ways you can help your child this year.

WAYS YOU CAN HELP YOUR CHILD THIS YEAR:

1.  Practice multiplicatiion facts every night!  It only takes a few minutes.

2.  Read the weekly reading story twice during the week.  A test over the story will be on Friday.  Study the vocabulary words for a test on Thursday.  Turn in a practice test on Thursday. 

3.  Practice the weekly spelling words.  Study spelling the words by writing them in cursive.  Trial test on Wednesday and final test on Friday.
