May is a busy month in Pre-K.  Not only are we reviewing all the concepts and lessons we learned throughout the year, we are also preparing for graduation. 

In math, we have been focusing on numbers 1-20, and we are doing wonderful with our number recognition. The students have also been able to decipher which numbers are greater than and less than...I am so proud of all their accomplishments.

We will be traveling to Adirondack Animal Land in Broadalbin, on Friday May, 25th.  The children are excited to experience this fun-filled field trip together.

We are just finishing up a unit on the metamorphosis of the caterpillar.  The students have been able to see the caterpillars grow from a small size to a very large size.  They are very excited about our cocoons, and our class will soon be the parents of 4 beautiful painted lady butterflies.  

Our moving up ceremony will be on Tuesday, June 12th at 10:00 a.m.  in the gymnasium.  It will be the last day of Pre-K.  

It has been an honor and a privilege to have been blessed with the students I have taught this year. I hope they will continue to foster the love of God, and the love of each other.
