Kindergarten Behavior Management Plan
Expectations:
· Respect others
· Listen and follow directions
· Take turns and share
· Raise hand before speaking out in a large group
· Put away materials
· Talk out problems by using words
· Follow inside/outside safety guidelines
Reinforcement of Behavior:
· Teacher’s Heart, WOW, Good Day. Try Again, T. A. (Think About It)
· Row Points
· Class Points
· First Choice for Centers
Consequence Steps:
1. We give students a reminder.
2. We give students a short time-out from an activity.
3. We notify parents if time-outs are occurring regularly.
4. We have a parent conference in which we work together to make an individual behavior plan.
5. We talk again to see if the plan is working.
6. We have a parent-principal-teacher conference.
*If there is a time out for the day, treats will be held until the next day. All Kindergarten teachers do not reward poor choices or behavior.
