Student Class Notes and In Class Assignments

  We are working on a "comma" notebook.  Students are getting notes each day on different comma rules, then working with partners going through newspapers and magazines looking for sentences using each rule.  We will do most of the "searching" in class, then students will put their notebook together at home.  We will spend about a week and a half on this, and it will count as two test grades.  During this process, we will be taking daily grades every so often over the rules.  There will be a test on all the rules when we finish them.
