Many things will be different with the eighth grade schedule this year. Homeroom will be 10 minutes with only time to take attendance and lunch count. Students are considered late after 7:45. We will be having a fundraiser again this year. Students can sell items for prizes and recognition. Also, top selling homerooms are recognized. Our school also does a humanitarian project each Christmas, again with the top homeroom being recognized. In addition to these projects, we participate in collecting Box Tops for Education. This program made $1300 for our school last year! At the end of the year, we hold Field Day with homerooms competing in different activities. So, as you can see, there are many opportunities for homerooms to work together, and I would love for my homeroom to pull together and be the TOPS in some of these contests!
